3.2.6 медиана диаметров частиц по массе (count median particle diameter, CMD): Диаметр частицы, определение которого основано на распределении массы частиц как функции их диаметра.
Примечание - Эта медиана определяется таким образом, что половина массы частиц в распределении имеет диаметр меньший, а другая половина - диаметр больший, чем массовая медиана.

2.91 медиана диаметров частиц по массе (mass median particle diameter; MMD): Диаметр частицы (2.102), определение которого основано на распределении массы частиц как функции их диаметра.
Примечание - Эта медиана определяется таким образом, что половина массы частиц в распределении имеет диаметр меньший, а другая половина -диаметр больший, чем массовая медиана.
